I illustrated and designed a custom postcard to say Thank You to volunteers at a Summer Festival (David's Tent). The Volunteer Team crew are the six people on the front and the back had space for them to write a personal message to each volunteer.
I drew each person based on photos that they sent me of each person. They have obviously been simplified a lot but I've tried to capture each of their characters.
The background is a layered image using a photograph and lots of texture and effects to give an almost painted look.
